CONFORMITY

Gift
Ret

How will Randolph meet the educa-
tional challenges of the 70's?
During the coming decade, a
greater emphasis will be placed
on learning rather than a stress on
teaching. The need of each
individual student will determine
that specific avenue of instruc-
tional approach related to the
demands of the time. Teachers
will become learning consultants
and, thus, the quality of learning
will be tomorrow's measure of
assessment.

Experience is the best teacher.

Color guard salute RHS

Educational tasks of the 70's will be
accomplished by the student's
employment of sophisticated
memory banks and mechanical
supplements to learning.

Roberta Fitzgerald concentrates on her art project.

Edith Nilsen prepares tomatoes for
lunch.

Asst. Principal, Mr. Richard Power, super-
vises the new construction.

Linda Adams and Kathleen O'Connell get an
early start on lunch.

. . . peace and brother-
hood

Independent study and learning through the stu-
dent's own experiences will be encouraged as
tomorrow's rule rather than today's exception.

Randolph's finest Cross Country
Runners take a breather.

Office Asst, Lorraine Grace, aids student in need.

Equally important, the school and the community
will meet the related needs and demands which the
education in the 70's will require.

Francine Donahue and Bruce Caswell admire new
teacher.

Jocelyn Nielacny helps out with the construction of a poster.

RHS takes on a new face as workmen rush to
complete the new school.

Miss Foley works with her Advanced Composition Class.

The 70's will present the challenges . . .
Randolph High will be prepared to meet
them.

The school will reach out into the
community and both the school
and the community will benefit.
This interplay of experiences will
make for sounder, more mean-
ingful learning.
